Motorcycle fuel overconsumption

The engine's fuel consumption curve is hook-shaped, with the lowest fuel consumption in the medium speed range. Medium speed generally refers to 3000-4000 revolutions per minute. Below this speed, the reduced air-fuel mixture flow rate leads to uneven mixing and poor combustion, resulting in increased fuel consumption; above this range, in order to fully utilize the engine's maximum power, the engine carburetor supplies a richer fuel mixture, also increasing fuel consumption. Based on this principle, keeping the speed within the medium speed range will inevitably save fuel.
