Common Clutch Troubleshooting

The motorcycle engine is the "core figure" of the motorcycle "organization", and the clutch is the "joint" of this "core figure". Similar to the role of joints in human movement, the clutch in motorcycle operation plays a role in smooth starting, power transmission, and smooth shifting. Therefore, the clutch is a crucial component that integrates the safety, usability, and comfort of the motorcycle. The main problems are slippage, incomplete separation, and burnt plates.

Slippage ——The main manifestations of slippage are: weakness, surging, and backward movement during motorcycle starting, acceleration, uphill driving, or other situations due to increased load. The main reason is that the frictional force of the clutch engagement cannot meet the driving force required for normal driving.

Incomplete Separation ——Its main manifestations are: abnormal noises during motorcycle driving when the load changes or the clutch engages.

Burnt Plates ——The most intuitive manifestation of burnt plates is the detachment of the friction material from the main body.
