When a motorcycle is driving, a good pair of tires is as important as a good pair of shoes. The roles played by tires during driving are:

(2) Take advantage of its elasticity after inflating to ease and partially absorb the vibration and impact caused by uneven roads during driving;

(3) Ensure that the vehicle has reliable adhesion while driving and will not slip.

The main point of tire maintenance is to maintain a certain inflation pressure of the tire.

With proper tire inflation pressure, the motorcycle can have maximum traction, stability, driving comfort and long service life. Insufficient tire pressure not only increases driving resistance, increases engine load and fuel consumption, but sometimes also causes tires to fall off the rim. Excessive tire pressure will reduce the stability of the motorcycle, and it will feel "jumping" during driving.

Keep the tire intact and clean the tread:

Check the tire treads of the front and rear tires every time after closing the car, and remove the small stones and other foreign objects embedded in the pattern. If you find small iron nails and small iron pieces, take them out immediately, and carefully check whether the inner tube is punctured. Motorcycle tires are generally not suitable for repairing, because the hot-patched tread is higher than other parts, and the car will bump up and down when driving. The best way to repair the inner tube is to use fire repair. In the absence of fire repair materials and fixtures, you can also use repair tape to cold repair.

If you often pass by unclean road sections, there are often iron filings and broken glass scattered on the road. In order to prevent the inner tube from being broken and unable to be repaired, you can bring a set of special tools with the car. They are: two tire levers, one small air cylinder, Cut a small fold, a tube of repair tape, and a few pieces of repair skin. The replacement of the inner tube mainly depends on its aging and integrity. Although the punctured inner tube has been repaired, its reliability has been greatly reduced compared with the intact inner tube that has not been punctured. Generally, if the inner tube has been used for one year or the inner tube has traveled more than 8,000 kilometers, a new tire should be considered. When replacing a new inner tube, it is best to apply a thin layer of talcum powder on the outer surface of the tube, and then install the outer tube to prevent the inner tube from aging and sticking to the outer tube. When loading and unloading the tire, it is best to have a special tire lever (plate), and do not use sharp-edged tools to prevent damage to the tire during the operation.

Avoid sun exposure and oil stains:

Frequent exposure to the sun will cause the tires to dry out and age. Therefore, it is best to park the motorcycle in a dust-proof, sun-proof, and rain-proof ventilated place, or cover it with a piece of tarpaulin.      This is not only good for the tires, but also for the car. Paint, electroplating, and plastic parts on the park will also play a protective role. Oil dirt, acid and alkali are corrosive to rubber, so it is necessary to avoid contact between tires and these things. For long-term unused cars, it is best to use wooden frames to frame the whole car to prevent a certain part of the tires from being loaded for a long time and causing deformation.
