The process of export customs declaration of trading company in China:

1. An export declaration enterprise shall have the registration record with the local customs and inspection and quarantine bureau, the right to operate import and export and the qualification for inspection and quarantine.

2. Documents required for export declaration:

1) After the goods arrive in the customs supervision area, the exporter should prepare all the documents required for customs declaration and then declare to the customs 24 hours before loading the goods.

2) Necessary documents: a list of goods, an invoice, a contract, a verification form, a customs declaration power of attorney, a shipping company's loading list and other documents.

3) The necessary documents according to the customs tariff regulations. (such as customs clearance documents, export licenses, etc.)

4) If there is an export manual, a manual declaration is required.

3. Documents required for export inspection:

1) The exporter should prepare the required documents three days before the date of customs declaration and declare to the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The documents provided include: a list of goods, an invoice, a contract, a power of attorney for inspection, a factory inspection list, a carton packing list and other documents.

2) If the goods are exported to the United States, Australia, Canada, the European Union, etc., and the outer packaging is made of wood and needs to be fumigated or heat treated, the documents that the exporter should provide are: goods list, invoice, contract, and power of attorney for inspection. If the fumigation product is a wood product, a factory inspection form is also required.

3) For fumigation or heat treatment products, the exporter should deliver the goods to the designated storage yard or port area for fumigation two days before customs declaration. (fumigation time takes 24 hours)

4. The export declaration needs to be formally declared to the customs. If the export is subject to taxes and fees, the taxes and fees should be paid in time.

5. After the customs on-site inspection of the documents is completed and the goods documents are released, the exporter shall transport the goods to the customs supervision area for inspection and release within the time specified by the customs. If inspection is needed, the customs broker should contact the customs bureau in time to inspect the goods. After the inspection, it must be sealed according to the designation of the shipping company. For those that do not need to be inspected, the physical goods should be released in time, and the loading list should be sent to the port area for loading according to the cut-off time.

6. After the export of the goods is completed, the shipping company will transmit the export manifest data to the customs bureau, and the customs broker will need to print the tax refund verification copy at the customs office in time after the customs data is cleared.
